It was a well kept secret that the members of Enhypen were going to be joining the star studded cast in the upcoming film, Baby Shark's Big Movie. This music video release was ahead of Enhypen's appearance on the Pinkfong’s Baby Shark float during the 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2023. I worked as a colorist on this project as well as various social pieces that coincided with the promotion of the movie. It was a big task for me because it was the first project I was really diving into DaVinci Resolve after I had been watching many educational tutorials on the program.

Since I began with Nick Jr in 2019, I was the go-to when it came to color correction and this wasn't anything different.

 

The biggest challenge that came from this project was the fact that there is 7 members of this group, who all needed individual color tweaks made. They have a very specific look as a group and that was extremely important to do them justice. Not only that, but there were a few different lightning set ups and backgrounds (blue, purple & pink) so that also was a factor to keep in mind to have all the shots look cohesive. For some shots, I also applied some light smoothing to their faces so they were picture perfect! Overall I worked on about 30 shots for this project.
